National Defence University Library
The National Defence University Library maintains collections of military science and national defence literature.

The primary users of the library are staff and students of the Finnish Defence Forces. The main task of the library is to contribute to research and development within the Defence Forces and to officer training.
The Main Library is also open for civilian researchers. Literature in military sciences is not systematically compiled elsewhere in Finland, so the collection is quite unique in Finland. The library also has excellent collections of military history. It is considered the central library in its field in Finland. The Main Library has about 4.5 kilometers of books and other information material.
The Students' Library is open only for students of the National Defence University and the personnel of the Defence Forces. The collections amount to about two shelf kilometers.
The library catalogue TAISTO is searchable freely in the web: http://taisto.linneanet.fi/
Finnish and other article references in the library's field are to be found in The Finnish Arcticle Database ARTO (requires permission of use) : http://arto.linneanet.fi
