How to get to the museum
Getting there by public transport:
Busses 16 and 18 stop right in front of the Military Museum on Liisankatu. The entrance to the basic exhibition is from the yard.
Trams 7A, 7B, 1 and 1A stop on Liisankatu. It is about a 400 meters walk from there to the museum.
Underground stops in Kaisaniemi and Hakaniemi are about 1 km from the museum.
Getting to the exhibitions on Suomenlinna Fortress Island
Ferry from Market square stops at the Suomenlinna harbour marked on the map. Manegé is about 800 meters from there. There are also private ferry lines running to the Bay of Tykistölahti, halfway between the two exhibition places. Please note that Suomenlinna exhibitions are only open from Mid May to Mid August.
