The Finnish National Defence College arranged an international Helicopter seminar on 10-12 October 2001. The Department of Tactics and Operational Art at the FNDC was responsible for the practical arrangements of the seminar. The purpose of the seminar was to concentrate on the tactical use of helicopters and in this way take part in the conversation that was currently going on in Finland.
The presentations given by the helicopter specialists during the seminar have now been edited as articles in English in this publication. However, the texts in this publication and the opinions of the authors do not necessarily present the official points of view of the respective countries and are to be regarded as the authors private thinking.
